Chère Mme Kristeva,

Je m’adresse à vous en votre qualité de membre du Comité de rédaction du « Journal littéraire » (« Literaturen vestnik »), auquel je collaborais de nombreuses années.

Après l’annonce de la Commission des dossiers (Commission pour l’affiliation des citoyens bulgares aux services de sécurité de l’État) du 27 mars 2018, le Comité de rédaction du « Journal littéraire » a rendu public son commentaire qui acceptait la légitimité de la décision de la Commission, pourtant sans aucun effet sur votre statut de membre du Comité de rédaction du journal.

En tant qu’éditeur d’une revue littéraire périodique je crois qu’il n’est plus juste de faire partie du Comité de rédaction du « Journal littéraire » qui déclare publiquement dans son commentaire l’engagement d’éclaircir le passé par la déclassification de toutes les archives que vous, dans votre cas rejetez catégoriquement.

Quels que soient les motifs du Comité de rédaction du « Journal littéraire » de ne pas poser la question de votre retrait de la rédaction, ils devraient être sans importance pour vous, ayant en vue votre position ferme de nier la véracité du déclaré par la Commission des dossiers.
Par conséquent je vous incite à prendre l’initiative, et à vous retirer du Comité de rédaction du « Journal littéraire ».

I appeal to you as a member of the Editorial Board of the Literary Journal (Literaturen Vestnik), whose collaborator I used to be for many years.

Following the announcement made by the Dossier Commiittee (Committee for disclosing the documents and announcing affiliation of Bulgarian citizens to the State Security and intelligence services and of the Bulgarian National Army) on March 27, 2018, the Editorial Board of the Literary Journal issued an editorial comment acknowledging the legitimacy of the Commission’s decision, however without affecting your status as a member of the Editorial Board of the journal.

As an editor of a Bulgarian periodical, I believe it is inappropriate you to continue to be a member of the Editorial Board of the Literary Journal, which publicly declares in its editorial comment its commitment to illuminating the past by declassifying all the archives that you, considering your case, emphatically rejected.

Whatever the grounds for the Editorial Board of the Literary Journal to belittle the issue of your withdrawal from the Editorial Board, they should not carry weight for you in view of your clear position not to acknowledge the truth of what the Committee has announced on the dossier.

That is why I urge you to take the initiative and to withdraw from the Editorial Board of the Literary Journal.

Estimada Señora Kristeva,

Me dirijo a Ud, en su calidad de miembro del Consejo Editorial del periódico “Literaturen Vestnik”, en el cual participé como colaborador durante muchos años.

Tras el comunicado realizado por la “Comisión de los Archivos” el día 27 de marzo de 2018, la Junta Editorial realizó un comentario en el que asumía la legitimidad de la decisión de la Comisión sin que esto afectara de ninguna manera a su estatus de miembro del Consejo Editorial del periódico.

Como redactor de una publicación periódica literaria búlgara considero que no es apropiado que continúe siendo miembro del Consejo Editorial de “Literaturen Vestnik”, quien ha declarado públicamente en su comentario editorial su compromiso por la aclaración de lo sucedido en el pasado mediante la desclasificación de todos los archivos, lo que Ud. decididamente pone en duda.

Sean cuales sean los motivos de la Junta Editorial de “Literaturen Vestnik” a no plantear la cuestión sobre su renuncia del Consejo Editorial, deberían carecer de importancia para Ud. en vista de su posición clara de no admitir la veracidad de lo ya declarado por la “Comisión de los Archivos”.

Por todo esto le insto a que tome la iniciativa de abandonar el Consejo Editorial de “Literaturen Vestnik”.
